Who's Ruptured and what's left behind? One will be take, one will be left behind; although they had the same occupation, where at the same location, one was left behind. This separation took place after great tribulation but before the wrath of God. (Matthew 24:41)

There is another scripture that is associated with this event in Luke; This verse has been interpretation in a multitude of imaginative ways, 'wherever the corpse is there the vultures will be gathered.'(Luke 17:37) The question that I'm pondering; Where the carcasses of the Ruptured left behind. All the movies and most teachings have assumed that our bodies would be 'taken whole' and sanctified like Jesus; the tomb was empty, He didn't see corruption. Two other Biblical examples of 'taken whole' are the two Olive Branches in Revelations at the end of the 7 year period.

Another reason why am I thinking about the possibility of the remains of the ruptured becoming the food of the vultures. I Corinthians 15: 37-49, Paul teaches about the body that will be raised up on the Day of Jesus. “you don't sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.” later it is written, “it is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body.”

If you are Taken, Gathered or Ruptured it will not make much difference to you, if all that is not Christ in you was the corpse that was left behind..Jesus did speak of rewards according to what we have done on earth; the main thing is that you will be with Christ and transformed to be as He is, the same kind of glorified body. We are justified by faith alone and He will present us complete before the Father; we are His work.

However, I desire to understand all that Jesus teaches and this scripture has always seemed a strange thing to say. Matthew 24:28, 'Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.'
